With over 50 years of experience, covering the management and adjustment of claims worldwide, we possess not only the history but also the understanding of the complex commercial insurance industry.

Dan McLain, BSc
Partner & Executive General Adjuster

Dan began his career in 1978 as a property adjuster in Dallas, Texas. He became a General Adjuster in 1984 and for the next eight years gained extensive training and experience with claims involving large commercial accounts. During this time, he also wrote numerous articles for publication in the Claims Technical Manual for a major insurance company.

Since 1992, Dan has been an independent loss adjuster handling claims for a number of domestic and international underwriters. His loss adjusting experience has also included participation in various appraisal and mediation proceedings. He has also worked as a coverage consultant on the development of IPP (Independent Power Producers) policies as well as providing expert testimony regarding various coverage issues.

Ron Crow, CPCU, ARM, AIC
Partner & Executive General Adjuster

Ron began his career in insurance with Hartford Steam Boiler in 1977 as a field engineer in San Antonio, Texas. He worked in engineering as a field inspector and a supervising inspector until 1984. At that time, he became a claims Manager, handling property and boiler & machinery claims as well as all related time element losses. From 1990 until 1994 Ron worked as an Underwriter/Marketer handling large boiler and machinery accounts and HSB's Unitech property accounts.

In 1994, Ron worked in Underwriting/Marketing with Cigna SRF where he worked with Brokers and Risk Managers to provide Comprehensive Insurance Programs for various types of businesses, including Utilities, Cogeneration Facilities and Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals.

From 1999 until the present Ron has worked as an independent adjuster,spending time with Maxson Young and McLarens Young International and in his current position as Executive General Adjuster and co-owner of McLain Crow & Associates, LLC.
